In 2025, Manuela Jansen will again be a member of the jury for the international tourism film competition “The Golden City Gate”.
“The Golden City Gate” has always represented the creative and innovative expression of the tourism industry. This year the award ceremony will take place in the stylish cinema, the Astor Film Lounge on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin.
Manuela Jansen will once again be a member of the jury of the international tourism film, print and multimedia competition "The Golden City Gate" in 2022.
"The Golden City Gate" is the creative and innovative expression of the tourism industry. Since 2001 it has been held as part of the ITB in Berlin as an international tourism film and multimedia competition.
In 2023, Manuela Jansen played a significant role in the first Euregio Film Festival, which took place in the Alsdorf town hall.
As an experienced juror and renowned food tester, known for her work at Kabel Eins and her involvement in various film and multimedia competitions, Jansen brought her expertise and passion for the medium of film to this new format.

In 2017, Manuela Jansen was a member of the jury at the "Charity Video Award" in aid of the German Parkinson Association under the motto "Exercise is essential".
The award went to film or video productions that looked at the subject of Parkinson's from a different perspective. An independent jury - consisting of experts, filmmakers, celebrities and those responsible for the sponsors - chose the winners.
Manuela Jansen has been a food tester and jury member in the television magazine "Abenteuer Leben" on Kabel Eins since 2017. In the section "Gaumenschmaus oder Gaumengraus" (GoG) with TV chef Dirk Hoffmann, she evaluates various dishes and culinary creations.
In 2018, Manuela Jansen was again a jury member at the "Charity Video Award" in aid of the German Parkinson Association.
In addition, she was hired as a volunteer event manager for the "Charity Video Award 2018". In this role, she took care of bookings and looking after the artists, provided staff for the event evening and arranged photographers and the film team for the event. She also brought Agata Reul, owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant Agata's in Düsseldorf, on board, who sponsored the entire catering.
