Life and career

Manuela Jansen was born in Unterallgäu. After completing her high school diploma, she initially studied at the Cologne Institute of Studies. In 1993, she took on the main role of assistant Janine alongside lead actor Martin Zuhr, presenter Rolf Donner on RTL in the series Donner's Tag on Kanal 4, episode: Teleshopping. (The satirical show Donner's Tag on Kanal 4 received the silver Adolf Grimme Prize in the entertainment category in 1991.)

From 1994 to 1996, Manuela Jansen attended the ZENTRUM drama school for acting, dance and movement in Cologne under the direction of Gisela Olroth-Hackenbroich. This was followed by roles in a wide variety of film and television productions as well as TV reports in which she was able to show her facets and joy of acting. She also successfully produces music videos and image films.

Since February 2017, she has been a regular jury member on Kabel Eins, appearing in over 100 episodes in the program Abenteuer Leben in the Gaumenschmaus oder Gaumengraus (GoG). She can also be seen in Menü für 5 Euro, Deutschland - Deine Koche, USA-Urlaub in den eigene vier Wände on Kabel Eins and other TV programs on RTL Punkt 12 and Punkt 8, among others. Modeling and jury work, as well as charity projects complement her extensive work.
