In 2017, Manuela Jansen was a member of the jury at the "Charity Video Award" in aid of the German Parkinson Association under the motto "Exercise is essential".
The award went to film or video productions that looked at the subject of Parkinson's from a different perspective. An independent jury - consisting of experts, filmmakers, celebrities and those responsible for the sponsors - chose the winners.
In 2018, Manuela Jansen was again a jury member at the "Charity Video Award" in aid of the German Parkinson Association.
In addition, she was hired as a volunteer event manager for the "Charity Video Award 2018". In this role, she took care of bookings and looking after the artists, provided staff for the event evening and arranged photographers and the film team for the event.
